Job Description: The College of Science invites applications for a fulltime, 12-month faculty position to serve as director and advisor for the pre-health professions program beginning December 1, 2019. The successful candidate will, in collaboration with faculty and advising staff, provide comprehensive academic and extracurricular guidance to eligible students and alumni pursuing admission into a healthcare profession. The successful candidate will also have experience creating, managing, and implementing comprehensive communication and awareness plans for pre-professional students. In addition, we seek experienced candidates who will teach medical terminology and supervise students in health profession external practical experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a Master’s degree or higher in a field congruent with a focus on supporting the pre-health profession program at Benedictine University, and a minimum of 3 years work experience in an advising role at the college level; experience advising pre-health students preferred.
