  • Assistant Director of Adm, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (Worcester, MA)

    The Office of Admission seeks an Assistant Director of Admission to assist with recruitment efforts across programs on our Worcester campus and Online populations. This position will collaborate with an admission team working across a variety of programs and admission entry points. The Assistant Director will work with students through continued communication and guidance In addition, the Assistant Director will assist in recruiting by identifying and establishing relationships with institutional partners. This position offers a flexible work arrangement with the opportunity to work remote part of the week.

    • Assist with advising students who are seeking admission into a variety of programs across the Worcester at MCPHS University throughout the application cycle
    • Become familiar with all of our transfer and graduate offerings and assist admission colleagues responsible for those populations with aspects of recruitment when necessary
    • Conduct extensive outbound calling campaigns and emails at various stages of the application cycle
    • Review application credentials for applicants from a variety of programs, and become familiar with pre-requisite and admission requirements for all transfer and graduate programs
    • Conduct Information Sessions, appointments, and tours, in-person and virtually, for various populations interested in transfer and graduate programs
    • Implement strategies and methods to assist with conversion of students at various stages of the admission process
    • Meet with prospective students, parents, or counselors requiring extensive knowledge of MCPHS University program and admissions requirements
    • Identify and establish professional connections with new and existing partner institutions locally and nationally, and travel to partners as needed
    • Work with admission staff to assist in planning, scheduling, cordoning and executing various recruitment events, such as information sessions and interviews on-campus, off-campus, or virtually
    • Communicate key differentiators of the University and our programs to students, as well as to staff through various forms of training
    • Other related duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Admission and Director of Admission
    • Support incorporation of diversity, equity and inclusion into the curriculum, as well as co-curricular experiences, to broaden the education of students and expand their knowledge of health disparities.
    • Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in admission, higher education, or related field
    • Ability to work and communicate effectively in diverse settings
    • A valid driver’s license
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills
    • A team player with a strong work ethic
    • Ability to multitask and effectively function in a fast-paced and team environment
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM
    • Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
