    Duties/Responsibilities

    Pre-Health specialists serve current students proactively to meet and exceed retention goals. Establish and/or participate in targeted recruitment efforts. Create and distribute marketing and educational resources, and promotional materials for student recruitment and retention programs; provide information to prospective and current health sciences students; analyze recruitment and retention trends; develop recruitment and retention goals and strategies; and prepare reports. Responsibilities may include occasionally working evenings and weekends, and travel.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Positions require a Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. Experience leading or directing the work of others. A Master’s degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year‐for‐year basis.

    Experience working directly with students/student services.

    Evidence of effective communication skills.

    Required to maintain a valid driver’s license.

    Applicant must be willing to work occasional evenings and weekends.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Master’s Degree 

    Preference given to science or health care advanced degree.

    Prefer experience with recruitment and outreach.

    Prefer experience collecting and managing data.

    Prefer experience with statistical analysis.

    Prefer experience with pre-health care field or health care fields.

    Prefer experience in Career development.
