To become a member of the Central Association of Advisors for the Health Professions an advisor should apply simultaneously to become a member of our national organization the National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP).
Current membership dues for both organizations total $210 per year (this includes NAAHP membership + CAAHP dues)
A twelve member Board of Directors elected by the membership, govern the CAAHP. Board members serve a three-year term. The participation of members in candidacy for election to the CAAHP Board is welcome.
CAAHP members are encouraged to participate during annual meetings and through committee work for the organization, providing input that will help strengthen the advising of pre-health professions students. This service work could include but not limited to the CAAHP committees which include; regional or national conference planning, diversity, research, awards, nomination, membership, travel grant, and advisory committees.
