Local Area Network (LAN) meetings are dynamic, day-long professional development opportunities that bring together health professions advisors from across the region to learn and engage with one another. Facilitated annually by health professions advisors in the NEAAHP region, these local gatherings offer timely discussions on hot topics in health professions advising, opportunities to share best practices, and valuable networking with peers and representatives from professional schools. Traditionally hosted by health professional schools, LAN meetings also include direct engagement with local admissions deans and directors, who share the latest updates and insights into their admissions processes. NEAAHP members are strongly encouraged to attend any of the LAN meetings throughout the year.
