Name of Opportunity: 2026 Mid-MO AHEC Collaborative Case Competition
Description: Ready to stand out in your healthcare career? Join the 2026 Collaborative Case Competition (CCC)—a completely free national, virtual event where teamwork meets real-world impact!
Hosted by Mid-Missouri AHEC and sponsored by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, the CCC brings together students from across all health professions to collaborate on real patient cases, design innovative care solutions, and compete for cash prizes and national recognition.
This is your chance to experience interprofessional education in action. Teams made up of students from diverse healthcare disciplines—medicine, nursing, pharmacy, public health, allied health, behavioral sciences, and more—will work together to analyze a complex case and present a coordinated, patient-centered care plan to a panel of judges.
Through the competition, participants will:
• Strengthen leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Gain hands-on experience in collaborative, interprofessional care.
• Network with peers, mentors, and professionals nationwide.
• Build their resume with real-world, competitive experience.
The 2026 CCC is 100% virtual, making it easy to join from anywhere in the U.S. Whether you’re just starting your training or preparing to enter the field, this is an opportunity to connect, compete, and make a difference in the future of healthcare.
