The five-day Pre-Pharmacy Enrichment Program (PrEP) at Keck Graduate Institute (KGI) is designed for prospective students interested in a career in pharmacy. Participants will explore the pharmacy profession through interactive classes and activities that will provide an introduction to pharmacy practice. Students will be introduced to the many career opportunities available in the field of pharmacy and exposed to ways pharmacists can impact patients’ lives beyond the traditional dispensing role.
Program content may include compounding and other hands-on activities, clinical skills, emerging pharmacy topics, problem-based learning, health information technology, research presentations, professional development, an introduction to the pharmacy curriculum, and admissions requirements.
Admitted students will chose one of the following sessions:
- Session #1 (online): June 21-25
- Session #2 (online): July 12-16
