University of Maryland Health Professions Fair

The Health Professions Advising Office at the University of Maryland is excited to welcome you back to our campus on April 24, 2025! We have historically hosted ~95 professional schools and 400 students at this event, as students from surrounding institutions are also encouraged to attend.

We are eager for you to meet our students, who seek and earn degrees from a wide range of majors and come from incredibly diverse backgrounds. UMD consistently attracts a high number of first generation, international and under-represented minority students, many of whom pursue careers in the health professions. University of Maryland is routinely one of the top 25 undergraduate institutions supporting at least 50 applicants to U.S. allopathic medical schools, as well as one of the top ten institutions for supporting 15 or more Black or African American applicants to allopathic medical schools; in 2023-204, 1.2% of all Black or African American applicants to U.S.-based MD schools came from our campus.
