DPM for a Day: Minneapolis

AACPM is hosting a “Day in the Life of a DPM” weekend in Minneapolis, offering students a unique, immersive look into the work of Doctors of Podiatric Medicine. This program goes far beyond traditional shadowing and is fully sponsored, including lodging and meals.

Friday, September 18 – Sunday, September 20

Location:
Minneapolis, MN | Hennepin Hospital 

Program Highlights
Participants will:

• Participate in virtual rounds with a practicing DPM
• Learn gowning and gloving techniques for the OR
• Practice real hands-on skills used by DPMs
• Hear from top specialists in the field
• Enjoy two hosted dinner events and lunch
• Stay two nights in Minneapolis— lodging is fully covered

Weekend Overview

Friday: Arrive and check into the hotel, then head to a welcome dinner to meet fellow attendees. (All attendees are required to stay at the designated hotel.)

Saturday: Dive into a full day of clinical experiences and skill-building at Hennepin Hospital, followed by a fun social dinner.

Sunday: Depart with new insights and inspiration from your glimpse into the world of podiatric medicine.
