SFSU Pre-Health Application Guidance Workshop

The Pre-Health Professions Post-Bac Certificate Program at San Francisco State University is designed for students on both the academic enhancer track and the career changer track who wish to apply to medical school, dental school, physician assistant or other U.S. health professional schools.
Our spring 2026 application closes on October 1, 2025. Join our info session for assistance in completing your application before the deadline. We will cover the various components of an application and provide tips for creating your strongest submission. We will also answer any questions you may have. Applicants who have already submitted their application are welcome to join the meeting.
We will include:
  • Coaching on essay prompts
  • Instructions on how to complete the Coursework Spreadsheet
  • Advice on how to work with your letter writers
  • An opportunity to ask questions about the application process
