About the Event:

      Biomedical Science Careers Student Conference Friday, April 6, 2018 – 6:00 PM to 9:15 PM and Saturday, April 7, 2018 – 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM

      Audience:

        • Postdocs (research and clinical)
        • Medical, dental and graduate students
        • Post-baccalaureates
        • College and community college students
        • High school seniors and juniors
          (particularly African-American, Hispanic/Latino or American Indian/Alaska Native students/fellows)

      The Conference will offer:

        • Breakout and plenary sessions
        • Keynote speakers
        • Small group meetings between mentors/advisors and students/fellows
        • Networking opportunities with professionals from biopharmaceutical industry, academia and the National Institutes of Health
        • A program featuring science resources, including fellowships, job and research opportunities, internships, and summer programs

      There is no registration fee for this program but pre-registration is required. Applications will be available fall 2017.
