    • Direct personnel and budget for the following functional areas: Health Professions Advising, Information Management, and the Career Resource Center

    • Serve as a member of the Center’s executive leadership team to frame the vision, establish goals, and develop strategies that align with the Center’s strategic plan

    • Oversee recruiting, hiring and on-boarding of all staff, ensuring alignment with campus policies and procedures and the Center’s needs and budget

    • Serve as primary Administrator for the center’s client management and scheduling system (Schedule Q); manage enhancement projects and bug fixes in collaboration with developers

    • Administer and coordinate all staff training, ensuring consistency and continuous improvement, and oversee  process

    • Oversee efficient and accurate transmission of student data into the Center’s data management systems in collaboration with IT personnel Common to all Career Center Professionals

    • Coach students one-on-one and in groups regarding career exploration and decision-making, preparation for graduate/professional school, and finding jobs and internships

    • Engage diverse student populations and offices that serve underrepresented students

    • Assess services and programs to determine student learning outcomes, make evidence-based decisions, and facilitate continuous improvement

    • Contribute to the design, creation, and maintenance of print and online resources

    • Maintain relationships with campus partners through service as a liaison to designated departments or units, and/or on committees, task forces, or work groups affiliated with The Career Center, Student Affairs, or the Campus

    • Create and deliver presentations for a variety of audiences, including students, families, campus partners, and external colleagues

    • Participate in professional development activities and associations


    Minimum Qualifications:

    Education Required:
    • Master’s Degree
    Experience Required:
    • Five years of full-time professional experience that includes a variety of responsibilities related to career services or college student development
    • Experience leading initiatives and managing programs and services
    • Experience training and supervising staff


    Preferred Qualifications:

    Education Preferred:
    • Master’s degree in higher education administration, organizational leadership, counseling, human resources, or 

    Experience Preferred:
    • Experience establishing goals, executing strategies, and measuring outcomes
    • Creative problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to lead innovation and manage change
    • Experience leveraging technology to enhance business processes and efficiency
    • Experience managing a budget
    • Experience interpreting data and making data-informed strategic decisions
    • Demonstrated commitment to enhancing career readiness of college graduates
