The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a pre-health professions advisor for the Pre-health Resource Center. The position provides the opportunity work in a new and growing campus unit (Center established in 2018) with varied concurrent roles ranging from working 1:1 with students to presenting to small and large groups of students, and presenting to large groups of potential applicants and their families.
Minimum of 2 years providing developmental advising to diverse student and/or alumni populations, preferably in health care, health sciences, or health policy. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and presentation skills. Master's degree or higher in higher education, counseling, and/or one of the health professions.
Experience guiding student development of applications for professional and/or graduate program admission.
